From the Central Milton Keynes boulevards to the older Bletchley terraces, 2 to 12 yard skips across MK2, MK3 and MK9 with same-day* delivery on a driveway.

*Same-day delivery is subject to availability.
Milton Keynes skip hire is mostly modern-estate home improvement. Whole-house refurbishments and garden clearances run across the family estates of Walnut Tree, Brooklands and Great Linford, loft conversions and extensions fill the newer areas around Oakgrove and Broughton, and the occasional retail or office strip-out comes off Central Milton Keynes. We carry 2 yard mini skips through to 12 yard maxis, dropped on a driveway where there is space or placed on the road with a Milton Keynes City Council permit arranged for you.
The grid layout gives good through-access, but many estates loop around distributor roads and cul-de-sacs that limit lorry turning, so placement is planned in advance. The older Bletchley terraces off Buckingham Road and around Whalley Drive in MK2 and MK3 are tighter, with resident parking that suits a 4 yard or 6 yard skip and a road permit. Family homes in Walnut Tree off Walton Road and the Brooklands estate off Fen Street mostly have driveways that take an 8 yard skip for a full refurbishment. The Central Milton Keynes boulevards, Midsummer and Silbury, carry bus lanes and redways, so central drops are timed to the loading bays.
For a skip on the public highway, Milton Keynes City Council issues a licence at £70 for a seven-day period, with extensions at £41.50 for each further week. As the unitary authority it runs its own highways, so there is a single council to deal with, and we submit the application on your behalf. On a private driveway no permit is needed, and every hire is delivered through a licensed waste carrier registered with the Environment Agency.
Most general waste is fine: rubble, soil, timber, plasterboard, furniture, mattresses, garden waste, scrap metal, and mixed renovation waste. The main banned items are asbestos, tyres, batteries, paint and liquids, gas canisters, fluorescent tubes, and fridges or freezers, all of which need a separate disposal route.
If you are unsure about a specific item, call us before you load it.

Common questions
Skip hire in Milton Keynes starts from around £140 for a 2 yard, with delivery, collection and disposal included. See the price table above for each size up to the 12 yard. Milton Keynes City Council’s road licence is £70 for a seven-day period, added only when the skip cannot sit on a driveway.
The grid roads give good through-access, but most estates sit off looping distributor roads and cul-de-sacs, so we plan the approach and turning space before delivery. On a driveway an 8 yard skip is straightforward, while for a road-placed skip in a tighter close a 4 yard or 6 yard is easier to site cleanly without blocking neighbours.
The family homes in Walnut Tree off Walton Road and the Brooklands estate mostly have driveway space for an 8 yard skip, which handles a full refurbishment or garden clearance without a permit. A single kitchen or bathroom fits a 6 yard, and a whole-house clearout is better on a 12 yard where the drive allows.
In the older Bletchley streets off Buckingham Road and around Whalley Drive there is often no driveway, so the skip goes on the road with a Milton Keynes City Council licence at £70 for seven days, which we arrange. Where a property has a drive, no permit is needed and the skip can usually go on sooner.
We cover MK1 to MK15 across Milton Keynes, from Central Milton Keynes and the Bletchley terraces to the newer estates around Brooklands and Oakgrove. Driveway drops are often same-day subject to availability, while a road-placed skip on the CMK boulevards or in a Bletchley street needs a council licence first.
