Who we are

Skip hire that works the way you expect

Skyward Skip Hire is a UK-wide booking service. We confirm your price upfront, arrange the council permit on your behalf where one is needed, and route every booking through a licensed local supplier with the right vehicles for your address.

Behind the scenes we maintain detailed knowledge of every council we work with: their permit fees, lead times, placement rules and seasonal restrictions. That means you only see one quote and one process, even though your skip might come from a different supplier in Plymouth than it does in Newcastle.

We work across domestic, trade and commercial jobs of every size, from a single-room clear-out to a full commercial project, with the same five-tier catalogue of skip sizes and the same straightforward booking flow.

What we stand for

Four things we will not compromise on

Honest pricing

The price you are quoted is the price you pay. Permit costs are included upfront where applicable. We do not add charges at collection or invoice for extras you did not agree to.

Permits handled for you

If your skip needs to go on a public road, we manage the permit application with your local council. You do not need to contact the council, fill in any forms, or chase anything. We confirm the permit is in place before we deliver.

Local knowledge

Every area we cover has its own quirks: councils with strict placement rules, streets with access restrictions, areas where certain skip sizes are more practical. We know the details before you ask.

No unnecessary hassle

We confirm your delivery slot quickly, contact you ahead of collection, and handle extensions if you need more time. Skip hire should be one less thing to think about on a busy job.

Common questions

About Skyward Skip Hire

Which areas do you cover?

We cover towns and cities across the UK. In-depth local guides with from-prices and permit information are available for a growing number of areas. If you are not sure whether we cover your location, call us or enter your postcode on our locations page and we will confirm.

How quickly can you deliver a skip?

Same-day delivery is available on orders placed before 11am, subject to availability. For orders placed after 11am, we typically deliver the following morning. We confirm your exact delivery slot when you book so you know when to expect us.

Do you handle skip permits?

Yes. If your skip needs to go on a public road or pavement, we manage the permit application with your local council on your behalf. You do not need to contact the council or fill in any forms. The permit cost is quoted upfront and included in your invoice.

How long can I keep the skip?

Standard hire is 14 days, which covers most domestic and trade jobs comfortably. Extensions are available if you need more time. We contact you before collection to confirm you are ready, so there are no unexpected pickups.

What happens if my skip gets full before the job is done?

Call us and we will arrange a swap or an additional skip. We would rather sort that out for you than leave you with an overfull skip. Loading a skip above the fill line is unsafe and means we cannot collect it, so it is always better to call ahead if you think you are running out of space.
