About us

This website is operated by Apex Waste Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 17025745, with registered office at 37 Bull Street, Holt, England, NR25 6HP. Skyward Skip Hire is a trading name of Apex Waste Ltd("Skyward Skip Hire", "we", "us", "our").

By using this website you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Nature of this service

Skyward Skip Hire is a lead generation and referral service. We do not directly provide skip hire services, operate skip hire vehicles, or employ waste carriers. We connect customers who need skip hire with independent local operators across the UK.

When you submit a quote request through this website, your details are passed to one or more local skip hire operators in your area. Any contract for skip hire services is formed directly between you and that operator. Skyward Skip Hire is not a party to that contract and has no control over the operator's pricing, availability, terms, or conduct.

By submitting a quote request, you acknowledge and accept this referral model.

Quote requests and pricing

Prices displayed on this website are indicative guides only. They are intended to give a general sense of typical market pricing and are not binding quotes. Actual pricing will be confirmed by the local operator who contacts you following your enquiry and may differ from any figures shown on this site.

Prices shown include VAT unless otherwise stated. Permit costs are in addition to skip hire prices unless explicitly stated otherwise in a quote from an operator.

Submitting a quote request does not constitute a booking, does not create a contract, and does not obligate you or any operator to proceed. You are free to decline any quote you receive.

What happens after you submit a request

After submitting a quote request, you should expect to be contacted by a local skip hire operator, typically by phone or email. This contact will usually happen within one to two business hours during business hours, though we cannot guarantee timescales as operators are independent businesses.

If you have not been contacted within a reasonable period and wish to follow up, you can contact us at bookings@skywardskiphire.co.uk and we will attempt to chase the referral on your behalf.

We do not guarantee that an operator will be available in every location at all times. If we are unable to match your enquiry with a suitable operator, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you.

Prohibited waste

Skip hire is not suitable for all types of waste. The following items are prohibited from skips by law and must not be included in any booking made through this service:

  • Asbestos and asbestos-containing materials
  • Electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) unless agreed in advance
  • Fridges, freezers, or other appliances containing refrigerant gases (unless agreed)
  • Hazardous chemicals, solvents, oils, and paints (beyond household quantities)
  • Medical or clinical waste
  • Radioactive materials
  • Tyres (beyond a small number agreed with the operator)
  • Liquid waste

If you are unsure whether a particular item can go in a skip, contact the operator before loading. Loading prohibited waste may result in additional charges from the operator and could have legal consequences under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and related legislation.

Complaints about this website

If you have a complaint about this website or our referral service, contact us at bookings@skywardskiphire.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within two business days and aim to resolve it within 14 days.

Complaints about an operator

If you have a complaint about the service provided by a local operator following a referral from us, the complaint should be directed to that operator in the first instance, as your contract is with them.

We are not liable for the conduct, quality of service, or pricing of any operator we refer you to. However, we take the quality of our operator network seriously. If you have experienced serious issues with an operator and would like to report this to us, contact bookings@skywardskiphire.co.uk. We will investigate and may remove operators from our network if they consistently fail to meet reasonable standards.

Consumer rights

If you are a consumer (an individual acting outside of a trade or business), nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer protection law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

As this website facilitates referrals rather than direct sales, the Consumer Contracts Regulations cancellation rights apply to any contract formed with an operator, not to the referral service itself. Please refer to the operator's own terms and conditions for details of cancellation rights.

Accuracy of information

We take reasonable care to ensure that information on this website is accurate and up to date, including pricing guidance, skip size details, permit information, and coverage areas. However, we make no warranty that any information is complete, current, or free from error.

Permit requirements, council processes, lead times, and pricing all vary by location and can change without notice. Information on this site should be treated as general guidance only. Always confirm specifics with the operator before proceeding.

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in any quote request

We are not a party to any contract between you and a local operator and accept no liability in connection with that contract.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Availability of the website

We aim to keep this website available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to suspend or withdraw access to the site at any time for maintenance, updates, or any other reason, without notice or liability.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or your use of this website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case you may bring proceedings in the courts of your home nation.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be severed from the remaining terms, which will continue in full force and effect.

Entire agreement

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Skyward Skip Hire in relation to your use of this website and supersede any prior agreements or representations.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these terms on any occasion does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision in the future.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our service or applicable law. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not accept the revised terms, you should stop using the website.
