The 2 yard mini skip is the smallest skip we hire, and the right choice when the job is small or the space is tight. It suits a single room being cleared, a garden tidy-up, or a garage or loft that needs emptying, and it slots onto driveways where a larger skip would not fit.
It is also the skip to reach for when the waste is heavy. Soil, rubble and broken concrete are dense, so a small skip fills by weight long before it runs out of room. A mini skip means you pay for the space you actually use rather than hauling a part-full large skip.

A 2 yard skip measures roughly 1.5 m long, 1.2 m wide, 0.9 m high.
A 2 yard skip fits on virtually any driveway and has the smallest road footprint of any skip, so it is the easiest to place and the easiest to permit if it has to go on the road. Placement is confirmed when you book.

Soil, rubble, concrete and hardcore are heavy, and every skip has a weight limit. Because dense waste reaches that limit long before it fills the space, a small skip is almost always the sensible choice for a heavy load.
