Kitchen and bathroom refits keep the WA4 and WA5 suburbs busy, and we run 2 to 12 yard skips across WA1 to WA5 with same-day* delivery for driveway drops.

*Same-day delivery is subject to availability.
Most Warrington skip hire is family-home improvement. Kitchen and bathroom refits run across the semi-detached suburbs of WA4 and WA5, garage and loft clearances follow the post-war estates, and the town centre and business parks throw up the occasional small commercial strip-out. We supply 2 yard mini skips through to 12 yard maxis, dropped on a driveway where there is room or placed on the road with a Warrington Borough Council permit arranged for you.
Closer to the centre, the terraces off Manchester Road in WA1 and the streets around Orford Lane in WA2 are narrow with continuous resident parking, so a 4 yard or 6 yard skip with a road permit is the practical size. The larger plots around Stockton Heath and Appleton in WA4 have generous driveways that take an 8 yard skip for a full kitchen or garden job, while the newer Great Sankey estates in WA5 have cul-de-sacs where a smaller skip and planned access work better. Bridge Street and Buttermarket Street in the centre are part-pedestrianised with loading restrictions.
For a skip on the public highway, Warrington Borough Council charges a flat £25 and works on an assumed-consent basis, treating an application as granted if it has not responded within 28 days. Only the skip supplier can apply, so we submit and track it and place the skip once it is clear. On a private driveway no permit is needed, and every hire is delivered through a licensed waste carrier registered with the Environment Agency.
Most general waste is fine: rubble, soil, timber, plasterboard, furniture, mattresses, garden waste, scrap metal, and mixed renovation waste. The main banned items are asbestos, tyres, batteries, paint and liquids, gas canisters, fluorescent tubes, and fridges or freezers, all of which need a separate disposal route.
If you are unsure about a specific item, call us before you load it.

Common questions
Skip hire in Warrington starts from around £160 for a 2 yard and £210 for a 4 yard midi, rising to £305 for an 8 yard and about £420 for a 12 yard, with delivery, collection and disposal included. Warrington Borough Council’s road permit is a flat £25, added only when the skip cannot sit on a driveway.
Warrington Borough Council works on an assumed-consent basis, treating a £25 skip permit application as granted if it has not responded within 28 days of submission. Only the registered skip supplier can apply, so we submit and track it on your behalf and place the skip once it is clear to do so, rather than you dealing with the council.
A single kitchen or bathroom refit in the WA4 suburbs of Stockton Heath and Appleton usually fits a 6 yard skip, and most of these larger family homes have a driveway that takes it without a permit. A bigger extension or a full clearout is better on an 8 yard, again on the drive where there is room.
Yes, though the newer WA5 estates around Great Sankey have tight turning circles and narrow closes, so we plan the access and often use a 4 yard or 6 yard skip the lorry can place cleanly. Send us the address and we will check the approach and turning space before the delivery day so there are no surprises.
We cover WA1 to WA5, from the WA1 town centre and inner terraces out to Great Sankey in WA5 and the WA4 suburbs of Appleton and Stockton Heath. Driveway drops are often same-day subject to availability, while the inner WA1 and WA2 terraces off Manchester Road and Orford Lane usually need a road permit first.
